Halala! Like many South Africans, I found myself tooting a vuvezela in June and July with astonishing regularity. Not quite as enthusiastically as some of my neighbours, mind you, who somehow felt that 6:30 was an appropriate time for vuvuzela-tooting. But, nevertheless, I was happy to succumb to a dose of World Cup fever.
