Lombardy, Italy

Few people outside Italy know much about Valtellina. It's one of the most northerly wine regions in Italy and its pride and joy is Sforzato - also referred to as vino da meditazione. In the shadow of Shaka, KwaZulu-Natal

Since the first vine was eased into the virgin Constantia soils back in the 1650s, wines have been made almost exclusively in the Western Cape.
