Chateau Pichon Lalande, France

Pichon lies near the village of St Julien, with a portion of its vineyards actually in the St Julien appellation. In the 16th century the land was owned by the seigneurs of Latour before passing, via Bernard Pichon, who married Anne Daffis de Longueville in 1646, into a family which came to be known as the Pichon-Longuevilles and who owned the property for more than 250 years.
