Win a Valentine's weekend away at Joubert-Tradauw Private Cellar

At Joubert-Tradauw Private Cellar near Barrydale you feel as though time is standing still. Sitting on the veranda whilst overlooking the majectic Langeberge, time seems to loose its grip on you. The wine estate boasts a lovely mix between South African "farm style" architecture and rolling "French Huguenot" gardens.

Joubert-Tradauw wines are more old-world style than new, and are complex, thinly layered and finely structured. Winemaker Meyer Joubert uses traditional methods and believes in little intervention in the fermentation process, with a strong emphasis on good viticulture practices.

The food from their restaurant R62 Deli is worth a mention. They specialize in Klein Karoo tapas, fresh breads, preserves like figs and maketaan, tapenade, delicious french dark chocolate cake and a delicate lemon meringue cheesecake.

Feel like picnicing? You can create your own picnic by selecting local cheeses, meats, preserves, breads and wine and enjoy it on a 4x4 excercion, hike to a near-by dam or rough it up on a quadbike route.

One lucky couple stands a chance to win a weekend away at Joubert-Tradauw Private Cellar, which includes:

  • free accommodation in their cottage for one night (either 17 or 18 February)
  • breakfast at the deli the next morning.
  • an al fresco lunch.
  • a bottle of wine of your choice after a wine tasting.

WIN WIN WIN

To win simply answer this easy question: What is the name of Joubert-Tradauw's second wine label?

The answer can be found at www.joubert-tradauw.co.za.

COMPETITION CLOSED

Congratulations to Andrea Beier for winning this prize!
