Tulbagh wine region

Approached from Malmesbury and Riebeek-Kasteel – or from Wellington, Worcester, Ceres or Porterville – the Tulbagh district extends north and south of the town. In the north-west corner, Oude Compagnies Post, Saronsberg and Twee Jonge Gezellen; north-east you pass Manley en route to Rijk’s and Theuniskraal, among others. Both mini wine routes in themselves.

South-east, in the direction of Wolseley and Ceres one passes turn-offs to Buck’s Ridge and De Heuwel before those to Tulbagh Mountain Vineyards and Waverley Hills, who punt themselves as organic.
