Trizanne Barnard, previously winemaker at Anwilka in Stellenbosch, has released her first wine under her own label, Trizanne Signature Wines.
The wine is a blend of 87% Sauvignon Blanc and 13% barrel-fermented Semillon from 2009, with all fruit sourced from Elim. It's a serious proposition and, though attractive now, should be even better in a year's time.
