A showcase for the culinary art of chef Bruce Robertson. The word play in the restaurant’s title refers to the eatery’s proximity to a luxury car showroom. During the day, Lamborghinis and their ilk practically spill into the restaurant. When your food arrives the waiter says “enjoy the show”, rather than “enjoy your meal”, and the open-plan, on-view kitchen provides a show which involves culinary sensations and the occasional staff tantrum. Almost every dish has a twist – there’s an orzo risotto ‘latte’ and an ‘Out of it in Africa’ dessert platter with a selection of koeksisters and wild dagga ice cream. Poor acoustics make intense business discussions or romantic sweet nothings difficult, but the creativity and skill at this restaurant are indisputable
