The Long Table

Published: 01 Aug 10

Rural Stellenbosch has a new addition in The Long Table Restaurant & Café. Haskell Vineyards' neutral-toned space appeals for cosy fireside dining or alfresco views in sunny weather.

Chef Corli Els prepares hearty country fare with bold flavours - corn or butternut soups, homemade burgers with prosciutto and bone marrow, or truffle-scented mushroom ravioli. Aside from Haskell and Dombeya, a chalkboard tempts with well-priced Australian and New Zealand labels.

Book for sociable winemaker lunches held at The Long Table. Tel 021 881 3746.
