The Lenos Bottle Cooler Stand

Published: 01 Aug 11

NO RUSH, NO FUSS,
JUST (COOL) DRINKING

It might not feel like it right now, but one of these days it is going to be sweltering hot outside again, begging for languorous lunches on the patio, which, of course, should always be accompanied by wine. The problem with outside lunches is that the wine, in order to stay chilled, either needs to remain in the fridge (which means someone has to run to and from the kitchen, topping up glasses), or to have an ice bucket, the latter not always being the most convenient option (forcing your bottle into the hard ice is just one problem). Which is why this new innovation is pretty nifty.

The Lenos Bottle Cooler Stand, imported from Germany, is a stainless-steel bottle stand with three cooling elements. Its workings are pretty straightforward: it is a 69cm-high stand with a wine cooler that holds three cooling packs. You simply place them in the fridge for about two hours, insert them into the bottle cooler and voilà, you are good to entertain with your bottle of wine within easy reach... And the best part is that this contraption looks pretty sleek too.

The Lenos Bottle Cooler Stand is available through Zack lifestyle products and retails for R1 254, including delivery. Tel 021 706 2604, info@zack.co.za or www.zack.co.za.
