FLAVOUR RULES

‘Flavour rules our world’ is the mantra by which Cloof wine estate near Darling produces a number of tasty products – many of which are made using produce from the estate’s garden. A deliciously spicy aubergine pickle is particularly popular. Mix it with thick yoghurt, cream cheese or crème fraiche for a delicious dip or serve it as it is with lamb or fish. It also tastes great with curry or try it with a salad or cold meats. There’s also the red tomato pickle, which is scrumptious eaten with cheeses and bread. And the marinated olives are definitely worth trying.
