Situated in a 1920s home on an organic vegetable farm, this restaurant is one of the new gems on the Garden Route. Obsessive organic food followers should know that not all the meat and fish dishes are organic but the majority are and chef Mario Sebia is honest enough to point out the ones that aren’t. Flavours tend towards South African takes on Mediterranean classics. Baked crayfish ravioli comes with muskadel-prawn butter. The pumpkin soup is topped with delicious rooibos jelly. Grilled lamb rump is served with gorgonzola ice cream, which might sound weird, but actually complements the melting texture of the meat.
