Starting with your invitation, your guests are afforded a first glance of what may await them at your wedding - it sets the tone and the style of your day.
The fastest moving stationery trends of the season are all about patterns and textures replacing the traditional motif. Stationery Couture takes design even further and refers to the incorporating of velvet or Perspex, canvas or wood and other interesting materials that add a special tactile element to the experience.
Innovative papers are being embellished and hand-calligraphied with great care, and are uniquely designed for each guest.
You will probably have thought about your menu, place cards and ceremony programmes, but why not also include a surprise for your guests? Consider designing a welcome or thank you note for every guest, special cocktail menus, monogrammed coasters for the first glass of champagne, reserved signs for the church, confetti cones, cake boxes for extra slices of wedding cake, a special guest book, canapés cards explaining each carefully chosen dish or your favorite poem that gets suspended from a tree?
Be playful and adventurous and, most importantly, choose a designer who complements your style.
