Salt Deli

Published: 01 Jun 10

Salt in season

Salt Deli has opened within sea-spraying distance of the Ambassador Hotel's Salt Restaurant, with a vodka bar showcasing 25 imported brands also to be found just upstairs.

The ‘go to' spot for Bantry Bay and Clifton sun-worshippers for dried goods with a local flavour, Salt Deli also offers quick breakfasts, wines by the glass or coffees en route to the beach.

Although fresh deli produce is limited, charcuterie and cheese items, pâtisseries and breads are on sale. At deck tables order tasty eggs Benedict or bagels with cream cheese, salads and wraps for lunch, or tapas later. Open daily until 21:00. (Tel 021 439 7258)
