Rossouw’s Restaurants

Published: 21 Feb 11

Well-known food writer and restaurant critic, Jean-Pierre Rossouw, has released the eighth Rossouw’s Restaurants, a guide to the best restaurants in the Cape, Garden Route, Gauteng and KZN.

Packed with over 500 reviews, the guide rates restaurants within their price category, culminating in a list of 23 eateries that received a three-star rating “where you can expect a superb experience (for the price point)”. Unlike many other restaurant guides, the rating system allows any restaurant – not just the fine-dining locations – to feature on the prestigious three-star list.

The book has been printed in a nifty pocket size and each review includes a star rating, a pricing guide, opening times and contact details. Readers of the guide are also encouraged to interact with the editorial team by going to www.rossouwrestaurants.com where they can add comments on their restaurant experiences.

Rossouw’s Restaurants retails for R149 from leading bookstores.
