Rossouw's Restaurants 2010 expanding
Jean-Pierre Rossouw, food reviewer for various media and burger expert following his article in this issue of WINE magazine (see p. 68) has recently released the latest instalment of his much-trusted, anonymously rated food guide, Rossouw's Restaurants.
The 2010 version incorporates an extra 500 establishments and covers restaurants in KwaZulu-Natal as well as the Cape, Garden Route and Gauteng. The guide rates restaurants on four broad fronts: ambience, food, service and winelist.
To be awarded the guide's ultimate accolade of three stars, an establishment had to "consistently offer a special dining experience". The guide is distributed by Art Publishers and retails for R139.
