WHY? Because this elegant 5 Star hotel overlooking the Franschhoek Valley comes with spectacular scenery, fine cuisine and sumptuous lodgings for your discerning party, and will work to your brief for weddings for two to 60 (although up to 120 outside with marquee). A garden ceremony followed by canapés and bubbly sets the scene for a stylish three- or four-course lunch or dinner in the fine dining style of the highly regarded Mange Tout restaurant (no buffets here), while a slightly more relaxed option is the Country Kitchen set amid the working wine farm. With no closing time at either venue, you can dance the night away and watch one of the best sunrises imaginable. The catch is that you will be required to book the whole hotel unless you go with the Country Kitchen option. But then, you will be assured of the establishment's ‘total and undivided attention'. Menus at both venues are tailor made to suit your desires.

WE THINK...
For a wedding with true individuality, a marquee or Bedouin tent in the garden with its magnificent views and ambience is the way to go.
