Popular Massimo’s Pizza Club reopened in Hout Bay in April. Massimo and Tracy Orione are cooking again on Wednesday to Saturday evenings, serving wood-fired pizza bases made with stoneground flour and quality mozzarella toppings. The focus remains on traditional Italian pizzas plus a few sweet pizza additions. The Pizza Feast at R125 per adult is a great way to sample the variety on offer. The deal includes garlic bread and a side salad, and then endless pizza slices for sharing with the table. As Massimo puts it, “It’s the chance to experience eating the Italian way on a typical Sunday – slowly, with an extra hole in your belt.”
