Jam Jar released in SA

Jam Jar released in South Africa

Pick n Pay has obtained the exclusive retail rights for the Jam Jar Sweet Shiraz 2009 - a semi-sweet red wine that has already been released in the USA.

 

Jam Jar, made from grapes grown in the Paarl region, is distributed through Cape Classics who says that it's "unapologetically accessible and populist".

Jam Jar is crafted in a lighter style than a typical Shiraz and is sweet at around 50g of residual sugar per litre.

Initially the wine will only be available in Western Cape Pick n Pays, but national distribution is to follow. The Jam Jar will retail for R39.99.
