Although at recently opened Stelle in Jozi's Parkview, patrons can enjoy more than just pizza and pasta and has, according to dining websites, been attracting large groups since its opening, making bookings essential.

Tel 011 646 6996. In Cape Town trusted Mouille Point eatery Bravo has closed down (or more euphemistically "relocated") - and now lives on in the form of Italian cousin Bravado in Green Point. Decor is more funky, but the vibe is still laidback, the food reliable. Tel 021 433 1496.
