WHY? Because this stately wine estate and historical monument is as rich in heritage as it gets, dating back to 1685 and one of the finest surviving examples of Cape Dutch architecture. It's also very pretty, with its oak lined avenues and views overlooking vineyards and False Bay. Its two restaurants are both perfectly equipped for weddings. The Jonkershuis Restaurant with its traditional Cape influenced cuisine seats 66 in its main area, 100 in its lovely courtyard, 50 in its private dining room and 150 outside under the oaks in front. The more contemporary Simon's function venue seats 160 guests with a dance floor.

WE THINK.... Groot Constantia offers a wonderful mix of old and new, with the modern Simon's offering a perfect "blank canvas" with lots of room for creativity when considering your wedding decor.
