Great Whiskies

GREAT WHISKIES

Leading international whisky writers combined forces to produce Great Whiskies, which chronicles 500 of the world’s best ‘noble spirits’, each with tasting notes, and provides a history of the some of the world’s greatest distilleries.

The book is grounded on the premise that “there’s no bad whisky. Just good whisky and better whisky”. And through this old Scottish proverb, the writers selected a range of styles, some big and bold, others elegant and reserved.

Our favourite part of this handy guide is the whisky tours, each planned around key whisky-producing regions such as Kentucky in the USA and Ireland.

Great Whiskies retails for R150 from leading book stores.
