Granita, in Pretoria

GRATIFICATION AT GRANITA IN PRETORIA

Situated about 45 minutes outside Sandton, close to Pretoria’s Wonderboom suburb, is Kievits Kroon, a destination in its own offering a range of facilities – not least of which is its acclaimed Granita restaurant. Here executive chef Sammy Mashile makes it his goal to ensure seasonal gourmet menus are paired with the best wines from the establishment’s extensive wine list. New developments see Granita introducing an autumn gourmet menu – six courses paired with wine – as well as a new Sunday lunch menu which also comes with wine suggestions, all sold by the glass. The autumn gourmet menu is R415 per person, with Sunday lunch at R165 per person (excluding wines).

Granita prides itself on
fusion flavours and the
menu includes a number of
seasonal interpretations of
classic dishes.
