The annual Nedbank Green Wine Awards have become a trusted beacon of quality when it comes to South African organic wines. This year Nedbank has partnered up with Getaway, who will jointly release this years results in the Nedbank Green Wine booklet, to be found in the December issue of Getaway Magazine. The booklet, in its third edition, will highlight the best organic wines and wine farms South Africa has to offer.

Judging began this Tuesday in an aromatic, organic wine-filled room and four eager-to-taste judges. The judging panel included the likes of Christian Eedes (panel chairman), Cathy van Zyl, Francois Rautenbach and associate judge Greg Garden. Wines were individually tasted per class and then scoring and discussions progressed well into the day. We cannot wait for the results to be released so we can get our hands on the best organic wines of the year!
