Food with an edge

Published: 01 Dec 10

Sitting at the very lip of the Indian Ocean in Durban is the African Peninsula restaurant. With tables practically on Brighton Beach where much of the aquatic wildlife can be seen, views do not get much better than this. The menu ranges from salads to grilled line fish, beef fillet, Chinese inspired stir-fries and another whole main menu for veggie lovers.

Make sure to have a glass of wine when the sun goes down as you watch the dolphins in the waves. Open for breakfast, lunch, dinner, tea and special occasions. Call 031 467 1045 or go to www.africanpeninsula.com
