The Big Easy wine bar at La Gratitude in Stellenbosch’s Dorp Street is open. Proprietors’ labels have minimal mark-ups on the South African wine list.
Golfer Ernie Els’s partners include Johann Rupert (Anthonij Rupert, L’Ormarins, Rupert and Rothschild), Firstrand CEO Paul Harris (Audacia) and Jean Engelbrecht (Cirrus, Ernie Els, Guardian Peak, Rust en Vrede).
