David Finlayson resigns from Glen Carlou
Moving on, moving in
David Finlayson has resigned from all his functions at Glen Carlou in order to focus on his own ventures. Christoph Ehrbar was appointed the new president of Glen Carlou Vineyards in his place. Finlayson, who was also involved with winemaking duties, will leave Arco Laarman to continue creating wines at Glen Carlou.
Also moving on is Marius Lategan, previously stationed at Morgenster. Lategan has made a career move to La Bri in Franschhoek. He has been with Morgenster for 10 years, becoming well recognised for his Bordeaux-style blends. A suitable successor will be selected in due course, but in the meantime Antoine du Pre, an oenologist from Chateau Cheval Blanc, will handle cellar operations.
