Caroline’s Wine Warehouse

Published: 26 Apr 11

ONE-STOP BEST-VALUE SHOP

Caroline Rillema, the well-known wine aficionado of Caroline’s Wine Cellar in Cape Town, has just launched Caroline’s Wine Warehouse where consumers can shop for good-quality wines – all priced under R59! Explaining the concept behind the warehouse, Rillema said that she and her team “embraced the challenge of seeking out great value wines” – spending four months tasting 500 wines to achieve this goal. This online warehouse stocks the best 50 wines from this selection, ranging from R25 to R59 per bottle. The wines are sold in unsplit cases of 6x750ml, with mixed dozens available. Some familiar names in stock are Bon Courage, Cloverfield, Darling Cellars, Kanu, Zondernaam, Landskroon and Perdeberg. Stock is reviewed every six months so check in regularly!
