Calyon Trophy Bordeaux Blend Challenge (SA)

Sponsored by French bank Calyon Crédit Agricole CIB, the annual competition focuses on the best Bordeaux-style red wines of South Africa – blends comprised of at least two of the Bordeaux varieties exclusively, namely Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Merlot, Malbec and Petit Verdot. The winning producer receives R10 000 cash and an air-ticket to facilitate travel to the Bordeaux region of France.
