WHY? Because this photogenic Constantia wine estate offers wonderful scenery and a rich heritage as well as gourmet cuisine at its tastefully refurbished restaurant, not to mention some highly rated wines from its cellars. Have your evening ceremony (from 17h00 only) on the lawn surrounded by vineyards or in the Old Wine Cellar, then sip bubbly and nibble divine canapés as the sun dips behind the mountains before sitting down to a lavish dinner for up to 100 guests. One of the main attractions is likely to be Chef Edgar Osojnik's fine dining menu, which he will plan according to your tastes (and budget) as far as possible. The cost per head is dependent on the number of guests as well as season - as with most venues, there is a premium on summer functions. Buitenverwachting wines and wines from their wine list only, at restaurant prices.

WE THINK... the restaurant combines its historic Constantia setting and amazing cuisine, but why not consider the paddock for a marquee wedding?
