Boplaas retains Peter Schulz Port Trophy

The annual competition known previously as the Peter Schulz Excellence Awards for Port has now been won by Boplaas for the fourth year in succession. This is the first time Boplaas has triumphed with a Tawny port, having previously won with one of their Vintage or Vintage Reserve ports, and only the second time in the history of these awards that the Peter Schulz trophy for the best SA port overall as judged in the competition has been awarded for a Tawny -- the first time having been in 2002 when the title went to Monis for their Very Old Tawny Port 1989.
