Italian chef-patron Emanuele Cantatore heads the kitchen team while his wife Vanessa runs front of house with elegant efficiency. The wide terrace has sweeping views of the beach and it is the ideal spot to linger over crab soup or to savour a bowl of deep-fried olives stuffed with ricotta. Loyal fans return time after time for the butternut and blue cheese risotto in which caramelised pieces of butternut are deliciously counter-balanced by the tart cheese. And no visit is complete without a portion of linguine with smoked salmon and chives, or a wood-fired pizza. Be warned: seafood is SQ and very expensive. Desserts are of the dull ice cream variety.
