He sips, he scores!
To add to the soccer fever, a wine named after the national soccer team has been launched. Bafana Bafana Wines, officially licensed by the South African Football Association (Safa) will be comprised of five wines - white, red, rosé, sparkling white and sparkling rosé, and are produced by Oranjerivier Wine Cellars, located in Upington, Northern Cape.

In another soccer-related deal Nederburg's agreement with FIFA is well on track with cellarmaster Razvan Macici having developed a special edition collection of three South African wines for the 2010 tournament: a limited-edition Cabernet Sauvignon, a dry rosé and a Sauvignon Blanc.
